You can delete an application if a project was created using templates.
The templates contain a setup mask where the InitEraseEprom system variable is programmed. If you enter a "1" in this mask, the terminal application is deleted.
You can also use the pair of DIP switches on the back of the operating device to delete an application.
After "Download1", the "Deletion process" then appears on the terminal, indicating how the deletion occurred:
1. AUTO_DOWN = Automatic download
2. DIP_1+4 = Erase flash using DIP switches 1+4
3. SYS_ERASE = Erase flash from the application by means of the system variable.

The SB file is a copy of the S3 file in a transfer-optimized format. In operating terminals equipped with a Compact Flash card, you can significantly reduce the required download time using this transfer procedure.

1. The interface parameters in TSwin do not correspond to the operating terminal's active parameters -> Delete the terminal's memory and restart the download in TSwin with standard parameters.

4. The operating terminal's interface is faulty -> Replace the operating terminal.

A library contains elements that are already complete (such as system variables, graphical variable objects) that you can transfer to your own project together with all references. This should help to reduce the amount of time and effort spent on programming.

A service program for installation is provided in addition to the TSwin programming software. This tool can be used to upload and download applications and recipe data sets.
The simple interface gives end users direct access to a tool that they can use to transfer their application changes implemented in the office to the application (S3 file) on site. In addition, the service tool can be used for backup purposes and downloading recipe data sets.
