The CoDeSys visualization system is available precisely for this purpose. The data from a controller that has been programmed with CoDeSys can be displayed without additional tools. The programming system includes an integrated visualization editor, which allows you to create visualization masks in a single interface when developing applications.
The visualization system integrated in CoDeSys does not require a tag list. It has direct access to the variables from the controller. Since communication takes place with the same mechanism used for the programming system, you do not have to worry about the (often troublesome) task of configuring the OPC or DDE layer. This feature significantly reduces the amount of engineering required to complete visualization projects.
An additional benefit, due to the connection between the visualization system and controller, is the enabling of sequence variants that do not require conventional display on a PC connected to a monitor.
