Hard Realtime Execution
The Jamaica VM offers hard real-time guarantees for all Java operations. This enables all Java statements to be used in your real-time applications. This includes statements essential to object-oriented software development, such as dynamic object allocation, inheritance, and dynamic binding.

Real-time Garbage Collection
The Jamaica VM is the only Java implementation to offer an efficient real-time garbage collector. It operates in extremely small operation steps consisting of only a few machine instructions and pinpoints unreferenced memory. It prevents memory loss due to fragmentation and restricts the execution time for allocations.

Small and Fast
A highly optimized static compiler ensures outstanding runtime performance. A profiling tool collects information to provide the best trade-off between runtime performance and code size. Memory requirements are kept to a minimum through the use of automatic optimization
techniques, such as class compaction, dead code elimination and efficient runtime structures.
