Operate your device from afar using TCP/IP and the remote protocol. NetC@P sets new standards in the field of plant operation design, mobile computing and diagnosis. Unlike remote monitor solutions that work using cumbersome digital and analog interface connections subject to quality constraints, NetC@P simply requires an Ethernet link for operation.

Screen updates, and keyboard and mouse movements are transferred in a highly-compressed format via TCP/IP, just as in a terminal server architecture. On the application side (master), NetC@P supports the operating systems WIN NT / WIN 2000 / WIN XP, and a variety of resolutions and color depths.

The software component, which has been specially developed to suit requirements in the area of automation, offers intelligent coordination of user and operating authorizations.

By either activating a key switch or a software option on the keypad, for example, the user can request particular operating authorizations so that he or she can operate the application while on the move or from another terminal. Since remote operation occurs in real-time, even long distances do not cause problems.

NetC@P supports multi-user operation for up to 8 operating
stations. Similarly, a single NetC@P station can be used to operate several entire plants. This functionality allows users to operate several machines (and perform diagnoses) using a standard PC or mobile hand-held system.

Device operation using compact THIN CLIENTS based on WIN CE.net through to mobile hand-held systems delivers superb performance and scalability, without any need to install software locally or make adjustments to the master PC.
